Choosing the right makeup tool

The most useful tool suits a specific product and technique. A sponge can press and soften liquid or cream complexion makeup. A refillable compact protects a compatible powder pan and makes touch-ups easier. An eyelash curler shapes lashes before mascara, while a brow-and-lash styler separates and grooms. Precision tweezers are for controlled grooming and should be kept clean.

Compatibility matters. Refill pans are not universal: size, shape and magnetic systems vary by brand and product family. Keeping makeup tools clean
