THE SCIENCE

The science of Colostrum Gel focuses on Local Skin Immunity. The skin is the body's first line of defence, and when it becomes thin or sensitised, its "immune" response is weakened. Colostrum is special because it contains Transforming Growth Factor (TGF-beta) and Immunoglobulins, which are bio-active proteins that "re-educate" the skin cells to act more youthfully and resiliently.

In skincare, these growth factors help stimulate the production of the skin’s supporting structure—collagen and elastin. By replenishing these vital proteins, Colostrum Gel helps to thicken the epidermis and tighten the stratum corneum. This results in a stronger waterproof barrier that keeps irritants out and moisture in, effectively "insulating" the skin against inflammatory triggers that can cause premature ageing.

  • Always support Vita-Enriched Colostrum Gel with a vitamin A cream
    Cleanse and tone
  • Apply Colostrum Gel sparingly to the face and neck - allow to dry

  • Use morning and night
