THE SCIENCE

The Science The Retinol Serum Forte utilises NovoRetin™ technology, which represents a breakthrough in vitamin A science. Rather than just adding more retinol, NovoRetin™ works by inhibiting the specific enzymes that break down the skin’s own naturally occurring retinoic acid. This results in a "retinol-like effect" that increases the skin's internal vitamin A activity.

When combined with Revinage®, a plant-based retinoid alternative, the formula delivers significant improvements in biomechanical markers—specifically firmness and elastic recovery—without triggering the inflammatory response often associated with traditional high-dose retinol.

HOW TO USE

Retinol Serum may be introduced once the skin is comfortable with the daily application of moderate to high concentrations of vitamin A.

  • First: Pre-cleanse, cleanse, and tone with your preferred Environ products. 

MIXED APPLICATION

  • Introduce Retinol Serum Forte by adding one drop of the serum to your Environ vitamin A moisturiser, 2-3 evenings per week. 

ONE SKIN HAS ACCLIMATISED:

  • Gradually increase the amount of serum until one full pump can be used. 
  • Gradually increase the frequency of the application until it can be used every evening. 


LAYERED APPLICATION: 

  • Apply Retinol Serum to the full face, before moisturising, in the evening as a single layer once a mixed application is tolerated. 
  • Reduce to alternate days if any dryness and/or redness is experienced.
