The Science
The Science
The Concentrated Alpha Hydroxy Toner works through the science of Desquamation Support. In youthful skin, cells naturally shed every 28 days; however, as we age or experience environmental damage, this process slows, leading to a thickened horny layer (Stratum Corneum).
The moderate concentration of Glycolic Acid in this formula lowers the skin's surface ph, signalling cells to shed excess corneocytes. This' micro-peeling" effect not only smooths the surface but also diminishes the physical barrier that often prevents active Vitamin A and C from reaching the living layers of the epidermis. By maintaining an optimal acidic environment, the toner supports the skin's natural waterproofing lipids while ensuring bioactive ingredients perform at peak efficacy.
