The secret to the Environ® Double Cleanse lies in the principle of Lipid Solubility. The skin's outermost layer, the stratum corneum, is a lipid-rich barrier that repels water. Environmental pollutants and modern SPFs are often oil-soluble, meaning they "stick" to your skin's natural sebum.

The Pre-Cleansing Oil acts as a solvent, surrounding these impurities so they can be rinsed away easily. By following this with a luxurious cream cleanser, you restore the skin’s natural Acid Mantle and pH balance. This scientific two-step approach lowers the skin's surface tension, significantly increasing the bioavailability of the vitamins and peptides you apply afterwards.

HOW TO USE

  1. Step 1: Apply Pre-Cleansing Oil liberally to your dry face and neck. Wet your hands and massage well to form a milky emulsion.
  2. Step 2: Apply the Vita-Peptide (Hydra-Intense) Cleansing Lotion directly on top of the oil or after rinsing. Massage well into the skin.
  3. Step 3: Thoroughly remove with tepid water, then follow with your preferred Environ® toner.
